SD court is so broken. Been in it for 15 years and been abused constantly by my child’s father who is a wealthy abuser and the court system that perpetuates his abusive. What I’ve seen in 15 years with attorneys, judges, commissioners, and evaluators and therapists is beyond awful and corrupt. There needs to be change. The first thing is get court reporters back in the courtroom. Stop looking at what’s sitting in front of you without looking at history.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m so sorry you’ve had to endure 15 years of what sounds like relentless injustice and institutional betrayal. You’re absolutely right—so many of these family court systems, including in San Diego, operate with zero transparency and often reward the party with more power, money, or influence, regardless of the truth.

The absence of court reporters in critical hearings is one of the most overlooked yet dangerous issues. Without a proper record, there’s no accountability—judges can ignore evidence, attorneys can misrepresent facts, and abusers can manipulate the process over and over again without fear of exposure.

And I completely agree with your point about history. Courts often treat cases as if they begin with each new motion, wiping out the years of documented patterns and abuse that should inform every decision. That’s not just frustrating—it’s a systemic failure that enables continued harm.

You're not alone in your experience or your call for change. The more we speak out, connect, and document these failures, the harder it becomes for the system to pretend it's working. Your voice matters, and I’m grateful you added it here.

Good Morning - I just wrote the below regarding this case as my case is shocking. My children were actually abducted and taken out of state, and instead of prosecuting the felony perp of dv, SDDA allowed the abduction and prosecuted me. I too was sent to las Colinas, right after I was strangled and had my head split open on video, it is incredibly disturbing what has taken place in SD. But I am blowing the whistle Maior and have gotten SDDA Summer Stephan Brady Listed with 30 civil rights violations - google it. See below re: the case you wrote about here and thank you for bringing awareness to this case

SDDA Stephan’s Husband, Judge Dana Sabraw assigned to DRUG CARE COURT (former Family Court) Judge Paula Rosenstein Case. Understanding RICO

The Bermuda Triangle of Injustice struck again! Judge Paula Rosenstein was the presiding Judge in my double felony dv, and double child abduction case, where my 2 felony charged perps and child abductors used the same shared Fixer, and friend of Former County Supervisor, Nathan Fletcher, at the same time, planed and paid for by my county contracted rehab owner and diversion program partner, who now works directly with Judge Paula Rosenstein as she was vying for position to become the Drug Care court judge while “adjudicating” (abandoning duty and participating in RICO) my case. As you can see here, none of the victims stood a chance, and not a single one had a fair day in court, as SDDA Summer Stephan’s husband, former Cheif Justice Dana Sabraw was assigned to the Rosenstein case, and Rosenstein is a partner of Stephan’s RICO Enterprise, all of whom get kickbacks from my county Contraced ex, felony charges perp of Dv, and Child Abductor who got away with it by several acts of Extreme Fraud upon the court, carried out by friend of Fletcher, all of which was reported to and permitted by, SDPD, SDDA, SD city attorney, and more.

Wow — that’s absolutely harrowing, and I’m so sorry you’ve had to endure all of that. What you’re describing isn’t just misconduct — it’s systemic rot. When abusers walk free, victims are jailed, and the entire justice apparatus is tangled in conflicts of interest and backroom deals, it stops being a legal system and becomes organized oppression.

The fact that you’re still standing — and blowing the whistle so publicly — is powerful. I’ve heard from more and more people in SD saying the same thing: these aren’t isolated incidents. It’s a pattern of cover-ups, fraud, and retraumatization of survivors.

Thank you for sharing your story and for naming names. You’re not alone in this. Keep blowing that whistle — some of us are listening.

I don't have any direct connections to this case, I only researched it. Why does Boucek need to recuse herself?
